Hello!
The likely reason why you’re here is because you’re a business owner who needs help.
You feel stuck because your business is heavily dependent on you and you can never seem to catch a break.
You can never switch off.
A week-long vacation without calls and messages? What’s that?
Is that it? Is that as good as it gets for an entrepreneur?
No, this can’t be it, right? There must be a way to grow a business and make money without sacrificing your personal life and health.
I hear you. I was there in 2013 where you are right now. I felt exactly how you’re feeling.
And here’s the good news: There is a way! Yes, you can grow a business and have a life at the same time.
It’s true because I made the transition from operator to CEO in 2015 and since then until 2020 when I sold my company, I never worked more than 4-5 hours a day.
And I worked only on the things I loved: high-level strategy, creative direction, ideation, motivating the team … that’s all I did and I loved it!
My name is Abhijeet Mukherjee and I live in Bangalore, India.
I’m 42 years old and I sold my content and media company for a few million dollars in 2020 after running it for 10 years as a solo founder. I was the only owner. No partners, no investors, no debt.
My team comprised of people from all over the world, both full-time and contractors. I employed people from the US, UK, Australia, India, Canada, China and even far off South American countries like Peru.
It was always a hybrid team. Some people worked in my office in India and the rest were remote. I believe I was way ahead of my time because hiring people remotely wasn’t as popular back then.
We were a content and media company. Our work was highly acclaimed. It was even linked to by the likes of WIRED and The New York Times.
In fact, Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google once showed off a clip of a video I made on stage at the Google I/O conference as part of the Pixel culture presentation.
We did some great things. And this attracted buyers. I started getting offers and eventually there was one I couldn’t refuse.
